What is n/soto?
n/soto is a modern Japanese izakaya in Mid-City, Los Angeles, from the team behind n/naka. Our menu brings together sushi and sashimi, binchotan-grilled dishes, hand rolls, seasonal plates and donabe, alongside cocktails, sake, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
Join us for a few plates and drinks, dinner à la carte, or our Chef's Omakase. Seating is available in our dining room, at our bar and on our covered patio.
Do you offer a Chef’s Omakase?
Yes. Our eight-course Chef’s Omakase is $135 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and is available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. The menu moves through seasonal dishes, sashimi, binchotan-grilled selections, nigiri, hand rolls and dessert.
To enjoy the Chef’s Omakase, simply make a regular reservation through Resy and request it when you arrive. No separate omakase reservation is required.
Do you offer Happy Hour?
Yes. Happy Hour is available daily from 5–6pm, with special pricing on select cocktails, wine, sake and dishes.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Our menu includes vegetarian selections as well as options for guests avoiding gluten, dairy, shellfish, and raw seafood. Because many of our dishes are prepared with traditional Japanese ingredients such as soy sauce and dashi, some items cannot be modified. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when making your reservation so our team can help guide you through the menu. While we do our best to accommodate allergies, our kitchen handles shellfish, gluten and other common allergens and we cannot guarantee against cross-contact.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are available through Resy up to 30 days in advance. If your preferred date or time is unavailable, join the Resy Notify list to receive an alert if a table becomes available.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Reservations are recommended, particularly during peak dining hours.
Can I make a large group booking or host a private event?
Yes. We can accommodate groups of 10 or more on our covered, heated patio. The patio and restaurant are also available for partial and full buyouts.

Do you have a full bar?
Yes. Our beverage program includes cocktails, sake, wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages.
What is your corkage policy?
Corkage is $35 per 750ml bottle. We cannot provide corkage service for wines and sakes currently offered on our beverage list.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Electronic gift cards are available for purchase online.

We are located just east of La Brea Ave. at 4566 W Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90016, in Mid-City Los Angeles.
Where can I park?
Valet parking is available at the restaurant for $12. Street parking is also available along Washington Boulevard and surrounding streets.
